Counselling, Psychotherapy and Mindfulness in Guildford and London
Welcome to Psychotherapy, Counselling and Mindfulness, in Guildford and London with Jyoti Nanda.
I am a therapist with a very diverse educational background and cross-cultural experience. I offer you a human encounter which is open to your experience.
I have lived and worked in India and the UK, and have had educational training in India, UK, and the USA. My training is in areas as diverse as Existential Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnosis, Counselling Psychology, Child Development, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. I am a long term practitioner of meditation in more than one tradition.
In my Counselling and Psychotherapy work, I use an integrative approach. I utilise insights from Philosophy, Psychology, and Mindfulness to address the human condition. I look at the difficulties that my clients are experiencing as the difficulties of life and living, without pathologising them.
I follow the ethical codes of practice: of the British Psychological Society (BPS) as a Registered Chartered Psychologist, of the the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a Psychotherapist, of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and of the Brtish Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH).
